Adam Weinstock is an incredibly prolific theater and film producer. His first LLC Company was Creative Concept Production established in 1997. He founded Red Spear Productions with Roger Cooper in 2016 and together they continue to create entertainment globally in multiple mediums including film, albums, one person shows, as well as Tony and Olivier award winning plays and musicals.
Recent successes include: Tina-The Tina Turner Musical, Olivier Award winner, Back to the Future the Musical in London, Meteor Shower, Be More Chill, Les Liaisons Dangereuses, Bandstand, Lifespan of a Fact with Daniel Radcliff, Cherry Jones and Bobby Cannavale, The Great Comet of 1812 Starring Josh Groban, Present Laughter with Kevin Kline , Randy Writes a Novel, (Lead Producer) Sunset Boulevard with Glenn Close and 2019’s A Christmas Carol.
Red Spear in 2023 presented Tony winner John Rubinstein in “Eisenhower: This Piece of Ground” Off Broadway which extended three times. “Superyou” debuted at the Skylight Theater in Milwaukee plus a concert in London’s West End and will tour the UK. As a theatrical production company, Red Spears Productions’ primary endeavors include producing, creating, investing and amplifying theatre, film, television, and other entertainment media in New York and Beyond.
In the 2023/24 season Red Spear on the West End West Red Spear produced “Flower for Mrs. Harris and Olivier Award Winner for Best Musical Back to the Future. On Broadway Harmony and Back to the Future.

Adam served the Provincetown Tennessee Williams Festival 17th Season, 2022 as Executive Director. He administered over 50 performances, VISAs for global performers including eight companies traveling from Cyprus to South Africa. He presided over public relations, staff, board meetings as liaison, contracts, travel and housing. He transitioned PTWF out of the pandemic into one of the most successful seasons on record.
Adam was the general manager for public education radio station WPOB 88.5 FM in Plainview for 31 years.
Creative Concept Productions is a unilaterally owned company operating for over a quarter century producing shows in the United States and the UK. Under the auspices of Creative Concept Productions Adam Weinstock has produced everything from Broadcasting to Broadway.
CCP produced over 100 shows in over 25 years, ranging from the 1996 revival of Mart Crowley’s The Boys in the Band, to the critically acclaimed 21 Dog Years Doing Time at Amazon.com at the Cherry Lane Theater. CCP and Adam have worked closely President Clinton, John Shea, Jean Louise Kelly, Bruce Vilanch, Lea Delaria, Judy Tenuta, Charles Busch, Margaret Cho, Ellen Greene, Paula Poundstone, Sandra Bernhard, Michael Feinstein and Linda Eder. Adam also manages talent, directs and acts. Dubbed Mr. Entertainment by the NY Times in a featured article in 2002, he produced shows on both coasts of the USA as well as in Dublin and in London on the West End. He has been involved in numerous Broadway shows, including Deuce starring Marion Seldes and Angela Lansbury, Peter and the Starcatcher and the Tony winning Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike.
In 2023/24 CCP presented an evening with Paula Pounstone in concert on Fire Island. Sister Mary’s Playtime in NYC at the World Famous Laurie Beechman Theater on 42nd street, NJREP in Longbranch, New Jersey and at the Red Room in Provincetown Massachusetts all Summer in 2024. CCP has now been absorbed by Adam Weinstock Productions.
During the pandemic Adam and Red Spear produced “boy’s don’t wear lipstick” by Brian Belovitch 20th Anniversary performance online. The star studded cast included. Margaret Cho, Lena Hall, Yuhua Hamasaki, Jonny Beauchamp, Mason Alexander Park, Jacob Tobia and Daphne Rubin Vega. It was edited by TikTok sensations Austin and Lexi.
Current projects also include producing a reading of All The Rage by Larry Kirwan. Susan Jeremy’s Robert Will Show You the Door in Provincetown and La Mama and Observant by Pam W. Grayson at The Chain theater in September 2024.
Adam serves as Vice Chairman of the Board for Emerging Artists Theatre (EAT), founded 30 years ago. EAT provides a dynamic home for theatrical artists to develop innovative work, from the first spark of imagination to full artistic realization.
During its vibrant history, EAT premiered more than 300 new works Off-Broadway and Off-Off Broadway and continually garners performance industry awards, including a Drama Desk Award Nomination, the American Theatre Wing Grant Award for Sustained Excellence in Theatre, and the Founder’s Award at the inaugural New York Innovative Theatre Awards. EAT was also included in the Top 10 Critics Picks from the New York Times.
